We are on the lookout for a fantastic Junior to join the team at UAINE Candles!
About the role:
Are you looking for your first job or a fun, flexible role while at school? We’re on the lookout for bright, enthusiastic and motivated juniors to join our award-winning team at the UAINE Candles Cellar Door in Morpeth!
You’ll be working in a friendly, supportive environment where you’ll learn exceptional high-engagement customer service skills, gain hands-on experience, and be part of an award-winning local business.
Retail experience is great, but not required. We’ll provide extensive training and mentoring.
This is a casual position with flexible hours (including some weekends). Applicants must be available for weekend shifts during the school term and weekday shifts during the school holidays.
Responsibilities:
Learning about our candles and products so you can help customers choose the perfect fragrance
Talking to customers about the benefits of UAINE Candles and sharing what makes us special
Helping with other parts of the business, such as labelling, packaging, setting up candle pours, wicking, and pouring
To provide an exceptional retail experience to our customers, which is educational, engaging, warm and friendly
Teaching customers about candle and diffuser care
To project UAINE Candles' philosophy of sustainability and quality ingredients, promoting beautiful + cleaner + safer + healthier
